APPRENTICESHIP APPLICATIONS
**2026 RECRUITMENT NOTICE**
Beginning on Monday, May 4th through Friday, May 15th 2026,
Pipefitters Local 274, located at 205 Jefferson Road, Parsippany, NJ,
will be offering 75 Pipefitter Apprenticeship Applications for the
Five-Year Pipefitter Apprentice Training Program. Applications will only
be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. When all (75)
Applications have been filled, recruitment will be closed. All
applications must be filled out in person between the hours of 8:00 AM
through 12 PM Mon-Fri. Applicants must be 18 years of age to start the
Apprenticeship.
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION,
COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT THAT TIME: (No Exceptions)
(ONLY COPIES OF OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED, NO ORIGINALS)
1. Copy of your High School Diploma or GED
2. Copy of your High School Transcripts or GED Scores
3. Copy of your valid Driver’s License with PHOTO
4. Three (3) letters of Character Reference
5. Copy of ONE of the following
a. Social Security Card
b. U.S. Passport
c. Birth Certificate
*A Form of Government Issued Photo I.D. must be presented at the door.
All applicants will be scheduled for and required to pass the ACT
WorkKeys Aptitude Test which examines the skill level for Applied
Mathematics and Workplace Documents. Applicants will be responsible for
this expense, $40.00 paid by money order only, at the time of testing.

Applicants meeting or exceeding the minimum score of (5) on both
sections of the aptitude test will progress and be scheduled for an
interview. All successful applicants selected for the apprenticeship
will be required to pass a physical exam and drug test as prescribed by
the Joint Apprenticeship Committee of Pipefitters Local 274 and at the
expense of the applicant.
Pipefitters Local 274 Education Fund

No copies will be made
on premises for any reason. Please Park in the South Entrance and follow
any signs or directions when you arrive. Do not park in the street or
block roadways/access.
