Local 274 Member’s Granddaughter wins Gold and Silver

Brother John Koney, Jr. a 37 year retired member of Local 274 is proud of granddaughter Kristen Willey of Shelton, CT.
Kristen, age 10, competed in Connecticut’s State Tae Kwon Do Championships on May 30, 2009. Within her age group, she won a Gold Medal in form and a Silver Medal in breaking. Kristen started taking lessons at the young age of 3 and has achieved various awards for her skills. Congratulations Kristen, keep up the good work.
