In May 2009 Local 274's Education Fund applied for a grant from the UA for new welding equipment.  The Training Center had requested the new Miller Pipe-Worx Welding System and Power Rollers. This is a state of the art welding machine used for Mig, Tig, and stick.  The grant was approved in July and we now have the machine and rollers.  The equipment is all powered up and we will be ready to start the night time welding classes.
