PIPEFITTER APPRENTICESHIP APPLICATIONS
**NOTICE**
APPLICATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE MAY 3rd -14TH 2021 MON-FRI 8AM-12PM
Beginning on Monday, MAY 3rd, 2021 until Friday, May 14th, 2021, Pipefitters Local 274, located at 205 Jefferson Road, Parsippany, NJ, will be offering 75 Pipefitter Apprenticeship Applications for the five (5) year Apprentice Training Program. All CDC Guidelines pertaining to Covid-19, including social distancing, will be strictly adhered to. All applicants must wear a face mask/covering at all times and maintain a minimum of 6ft distancing from others at all times while on the property of Pipefitters Local 274.
All applications must be filled out in person between the hours of 8:00 AM through 12 PM, (excluding Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays). Applications will only be issued on a first come, first served basis to individuals at least 18 years of age at the time of applying for apprenticeship. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or a GED Certificate. All applicants will be afforded equal opportunity with regard to age, race, color, creed, gender, national and ethnic origin or physical handicap (except to the extent of the applicant’s inability to perform the work.)
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION YOU MUST PRESENT
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS AT THAT TIME: (No Exceptions)
(COPIES ONLY – NO ORIGINALS ACCEPTED)
1. Copy of your High School Diploma or GED
2. Copy of your High School Transcripts or GED Scores
3. Copy of your valid Driver’s License with PHOTO
4. Three (3) letters of Character Reference
5. and ONE of the following
a. Social Security Card
b. U.S. Passport
c. U.S. Birth Certificate
All applicants will be scheduled for and required to pass the Work Keys aptitude test which examines the skill level for Applied Mathematics and Work Place Documents. Practice Exams can be found at: www.act.org/workkeys. Applicants will be required to cover the expense of the test at a cost of $45.00. All successful applicants will be required to pass a physical exam and drug test as prescribed by the Joint Apprenticeship Committee of Pipefitters Local 274. The cost of the drug test will be the responsibility of the applicant.

No copies will be made on premises and no one will be admitted to enter the building for any reason. Anyone not following the rules or precautions will be asked to leave. Please park in the South Entrance and follow any signs or directions when you arrive.
